About the pilates studio

The studio pilates equipment

The studio holds the full range of professional pilates equipment for client use.  This includes Balanced Body studio pilates reformers, towers, Cadillac, ladder barrel, Exo Chair and Wunda Chair.   This allows clients to experience a varied and comprehensive training session.  The various pieces of equipment each help clients feel movements slightly differently - and can help clients better connect to their bodies.

Matwork classes use the tower reformer mats - which mean that clients are on raised padded platforms - which make moving from sitting/ lying down to standing less challenging for those with mobility issues.  There is no need to bring a roll up mat to your classes.

Additionally clients are able to work with the Core Align.   Training with this aims to stimulate the central nervous system - providing amazing feedback to the client during use to help reestablish neuromuscular connections to the body that can be lost after injury.  Working on this equipment can help improve gait, posture, balance and functional movement.... and it's just fun to use!
